The past 10 days I've been very slack with the picture taking.  Part of it is that the hubby has been taking my laptop to work with him so he can watch/listen TV shows and movies on it while working on the other computers.  He doesn't get home until a couple hours after me, and I'm not used to using our desktop computer, so I just never get around to messing with the blog at home.  But I've come to terms that the laptop will continue to be commandeered and I went out this evening after work and took a ton of pictures while strolling mt trashmore park.  So the next 9 posts will be catch up!

Still no couch... so we take turns with who gets the chair and who gets the bosu/floor.
My allergies are acting up full time today, so instead of going outside, we're relaxing on the home front...

We got D a new desk for our new place.  He's been wanting a nicer desk for sometime and luck us, OfficeMax was having a sale and this is pretty much exactly what we were looking for!  Yay!!

All the books are lined up on this wall... I really want to build my own bookshelves here that are bigger than what I've got and i think this could be just the project for my first mo-made piece of furniture.  As soon as a get a free weekend, I'll be heading out to Dad's to build it!

The trouble with a nice, new apt is that it's really tough to commit to putting stuff on the walls... so all our pictures and frames and other wall decor are stacked up by the door awaiting inspiration!

though it looks messy, i was able to organize all these miscellaneous things i just cant part with yet... i categorized sports & game stuff, craftyness stuff, office stuff, computer/electronic stuff, and fitness stuff... one day i will have a shopping spree at the container store (aka- my mecca) and get all matching bins/organization systems and my type A heart will be soo happy... until then tho, this will do!   :)

Empty Living Room

With the move, we decided it was time to upgrade our couch.  The one we've had the past 5 1/2 years was a hand me down from my Dad. Although it was comfy, its a pain to move and there was a big armrest table in between the two recliners.  So, we hunted down our dream couch and D even found an excellent deal online that is cutting nearly 40% off by calling a company in Texas to ship it to us.  However, it's gonna take up to 6 weeks to get here... so until then, this is our sad living room :)

Last friday i went up to longwood for an alumni event and to visit my little brother who is a junior there now.  I just love how beautiful the campus is!
