I dont know if I've ever had beets before... time to start googling for good recipes!

CSA Week 4

Bounty for the week: spinach, beets, cabbage, squash, green beans, green onions

So happy it's here!! No more beach chairs!

One piece of the couch was super long (101") and couldn't get past that bend in our stairs, so D had three buddies helping and they carried it up the first half of the stairs and lifted it across the gap onto our patio and carried it in that way... I was super impressed! :)

Still no couch, so we sit in beach chairs... knowing it will be worth it in the end to have a couch we love!

Earth Day

There was an Earth Day celebration at Mt Trashmore on Sunday with lots of fun stuff for kids. Mady, Dad and I went and walked around a bit and she made lots of crafts, including this pin wheel!
