Just when I thought it was gonna be another boring picture night, D gives me great footage of his first netti pot experience! haha  Poor guy is fighting a cold and is all stuffed up so he decided to give the netti a try- it took a long time for the water to get through and then it only dripped out so I'm not sure how much good it did him, but it was hilarious to watch and photograph!

Once again I'm roaming around the apartment trying to find something to photography tonight.  It's just too cold outside to go wander the neighborhood!  So I found this to take a picture of- a pretty wine stopper I got at a winery outside Seattle a couple years ago.

it's all in the details

I'm absolutely loving how details show up in my pictures now- this is in low light with no flash. With my old camera it would be all blurry! Puffy hearting my new camera!

Today I headed out to see my mom and loved this view as I was driving down Shore Drive going through the First Landing State Park area.  I didn't have my DSLR handy, so I just used my point-and-shoot camera!

cozy first day of 2010

The first day of the new year for me?  Cozyed up on the couch all day with tea, reading books and watching an SVU marathon... quite exciting ;)  Actually it was nice and relaxing and I'm feeling great about the new year - I think it's gonna be a great one!
